The City of Hayward Nonprofit & Governmental Agencies Energy Efficiency Incentive Program |
| |
The goal of the City of Hayward Nonprofit and Governmental Agencies Energy Efficiency Incentive (NGA) Program is to help the organizations that provide important services to the Hayward community reduce their energy usage and thus their energy bills. The program is designed to complement existing PG&E energy efficiency incentive programs (excluding new construction or major renovation).
Energy efficiency improvement measures eligible for PG&E incentives will be eligible for additional incentives from the NGA Program up to $50,000. The incentives together may equal (but never exceed) the entire project cost.
Participation in the NGA Program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Apply now to reserve your funding! Program funds are limited!
How to Participate:
Step 1 – Contact your local PG&E Account Representative at 1-888-584-0441 or energyinformation@pge.com. A PG&E account representative will return your call or e-mail to set up a time to come to your facility.
Step 2 – Identify energy saving opportunities. Your PG&E Account Representative will work hand in hand with you to identify the most appropriate incentive program and submit the correct paperwork. To reserve your incentive, the City must receive a signed copy of the City of Hayward Program Application and a signed copy of the PG&E program application including projected energy and cost savings, project cost, and PG&E incentive.
Documents may be submitted:
- via fax to 510.540.7268 Attn: Marc McDonald, City of Hayward NGA Program OR
- electronically to energyefficiency@hayward-ca.gov; subject line should read: City of Hayward NGA Program.
Step 3 – Install your project and start saving. Work with your account representative to get the appropriate post-installation documents showing proof of installation and PG&E rebate amount to the City. You or your installation contractor will invoice the City for the City of Hayward NGA program incentive.
